Paying by bank account

If you'd like to pay your bill online using a bank account, you can use your checking, savings, or money market account. You'll need your routing and account number to finalize the payment.

If you'd like your bill to be paid automatically each month, you can enroll in Autopay.

Note: 10-digit (CABS) billing account numbers are not eligible for online payment. To make a payment for these accounts, please call 800-603-6000.

To pay your bill using a bank account:

  1. Click the Billing tab, then click the One-Time Payments subtab.
  1. Click Bank Account.
  1. For each account you want to make a payment on, select the checkbox next to the account(s). In the Pay Amount column, type the amount you want to pay. (By default, Control Center assumes you want to pay the full amount owing.)
  1. Click Continue.
  1. Review the account(s) and amount(s) you've select to pay and do one of the following:

    • To make changes, click Back and return to step 3.

    • To proceed with your payment(s), click Continue.

  2. At the bottom of the page, select the checkbox next to the authorization statement: I authorize CenturyLink to charge… (You may need to scroll down to see it.)

  3. Click Proceed.
  1. Do one of the following:

    • To make a payment using a saved bank account, select the account you'd like to use from the Method of Payment field. Skip to step 13.

    • To make a payment using a new account, continue with the next step. (You can save the information for future payments.)

  2. In the Method of Payment field, select the type of account you'd like to use.
  1. Fill in the information for your bank account (routing number and account number).

  2. If you want to save this account to pay with for future months, select the Save this payment method checkbox. (Your bank account information is stored securely by our payment processing vendor. CenturyLink does not store this information.)

  3. Select the I agree to these Terms and Conditions checkbox.

  4. Click Next.
  1. Verify that the information you entered is correct, then click Submit Payment. (If the information is not correct, click the green Make Changes link and make your corrections.)
  1. Review and keep the confirmation information that appears on the screen.

    You'll receive an email confirming your payment. (If you don't receive an email, make sure your contact information is correct.)
Note: This payment process applies to most of our customers, but not all of them. When you log in to Control Center, if the screens look different than what we describe here, お問い合わせ and we can walk you through making a payment using your credit card. We apologize for any inconvenience.
