Setting other lines to ring when your line rings

You can set up to twelve numbers to ring when someone calls your line using the Simultaneous Ring feature. If any one of the lines answers a call (including your line), the other phones stop ringing. If no one answers the call, the caller returns to your office phone's voicemail.

After you've set the other lines to ring and the Simultaneous Ring options, you can turn the feature on and off using the Simultaneous Ring icon (a blue circle with a white phone) on the toolbar.

To turn on Simultaneous Ring:

  1. Open your browser or Microsoft Outlook with the Enterprise Assistant Toolbar.
  1. Click Services.

The Services window opens with the toolbar features, displaying the last feature opened.
  1. Under the Incoming Calls menu, click Simultaneous Ring.
  1. Click the On radio button.

  2. Select an option for How to handle incoming calls:

    • Don’t ring my Simultaneous ring Numbers if I’m already on a call

    • Ring all my Simultaneous Ring Numbers for all incoming calls

  3. To add a phone number to the simultaneous ring list (you can add up to twelve), click Add.

  4. In the Phone Number field, type the number.
  1. Do one of the following:

    • If you want to make additional changes, click Apply, then click on the next feature to set.

    • If you're done, click OK.
